Labour Day Longweekend Mac Get together in SE Qld

I posted this message on the MacGregor 26 Owners group on Facebook and there has been a bit of interest with 4 owners indicating that they want to come along. So wanted to put the event here as well as I'm sure some of yo might like to come along for the weekend too?

For us Mac owners here in Australia we have the Labour day long weekend coming up on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of October. Just wondering if there are other Mac owners from the South East QLD or Northern NSW regions that would be interested in planning a get together with our boats somewhere on Moreton Bay over the long weekend?

Possible destinations include Horseshoe bay on Peel Island, or a quiet anchorage off Coochiemudlo Island in the southern bay, or for those more adventurous Tangalooma on Moreton Island is another possible option to meet up and enjoy some time on our great boats.

If your interested in getting together on the long weekend leave message below and let's kick the idea around a bit and see what can be arranged.

Sounds great Barry but I am staying on the Sunshine coast, I am sailing though, hope to track down a whale or two, if anyone wants to catch up I am staying in the marina at Mooloolaba, hope you guys have a good time, cheers, Dennis.

Whales a plenty they tell me, news tonight said that more whales have been spotted in the past few days than any year so far, they say we are in the height of migration so I will definitely take my video, three gorgeous days predicted weather wise and mild wind and low swell all add up to a promising weekend, yay. I have booked the marina so you know where to find me. I hope to pst report and video next week. Cheers, Dennis.

Have a great time Dennis. There are 3 of us at this stage meeting up with our MacGregors at Peel Island for the long weekend, and yes teh wether forecast is perfect!!
