Alternative to oem toe smasher

My lovely M has some odd equipment designed to smash toes and tangle lines attached to the main sheet car. Once in a while I also use it to adjust the main sheet car position on the track.
Any suggestions for a more effective less cluttered solution? I still do want to be able to adjust the car but I do not want those large camclears any longer. The final straw was that they proclude having cockpit cushions on the bridge deck.
