Not sure if this is the correct forum, but I'll give it a try...
My MacGregor trailer rotted into a pile of rust and rubber about a year ago which has been fine since I keep the boat in the water. But now I'm in need of a trailer to pull my 96

out of the water and across town to an engine shop to repair the upper end cooling system. Anyone know of a local place to rent a boat trailer for a week or so? Feel free to PM me info if you've got it.
Thanks, Mike

I'm in San Diego with my boat in a slip until October 15th. My trailer, for a Mac M, is available for free if you want. Send me a PM and we can coordinate.

Anybody know of any issues trailering an

on a

trailer unmodified? I presume that the bunks aren't exactly the same.

I think this has been kicked around on the Board in Trailers & Towing....
btw...if you do score the free rental, it is customary to partake of the RESOURCES > SUPPORT THIS BOARD function...

I bought an M trailer for my X, and the P O used it for his X till' it had a fire.
It seemed ok to use it as a yard/launch trailer till I modified the bunks.
I would not want to haul cross country with it .I still have the patterns for converting the bunks up here in Orange county.

Not sure if you figured your situation out. I did notice there was an

trailer on craiglist for $500.

Catigale - Aye!
All - got it covered - Thanks for the support!
I did contact the MacGregor factory about a year ago and they confirmed the stock M trailer will work for Xs with minimal modification. I just really didn't want to drop a couple of big boat bucks for something I hopefully wouldn't use much.
