Please don't laugh . . .
If one is using the galley sink pump, where does the water go once it goes down the drain?
Kathryn, who feels more incompetent every day!

Stupid answer...depends on your plumbing but ours goes either overboard thru the hull or into our grey water bladder if the 3 way valve is turned that way....which by the way is never...more for show in case of an inspection by the authorities...some inland water ways and marine parks are nil disposal

Look for a small hole on the port side near the waterline and aligned with the galley. While on the trailer, ask someone to pour water in the sink while you stand there to watch it dribble out of the hole. These holes are called "through hulls". You also have one on the starboard side near the head for the head sink.

Thank you! I have it working for now until I can replace it with a real pump!

We are all laughing WITH you K!!!
Seriously...on a used boat, it's worth opening the galley and checking that the hose from the sink is attached firmly to both the sink and the hull fitting.
It's not illegal to dump grey water ( no human waste) most anywhere in North America
