Hi , my name is Enrico I am 47 years old, i'm an Italian sailor live in Vicenza near Venice in northeast Italy, with my wife Patrizia my son Riccardo (14) and my little daughter Emma (7).
In 2011 I bought a used Macgregor 26X 1999 for € 10.000 I then added a 2007 60hp Yamaha engine used , which ran only for 60 hours for Euro 3000, and finally a new italian trailer Sacar bi axis for Euro 4000 and pulling with my turbo diesel Dodge Nitro .
(For speed .... Best Italian sports cars .....for tow ...... best American cars

)
I'm really happy to be a part of the community of macgregor sailor.
For 26 years I was a camper (RV) and for me it 'was easy to choose a Macgregor 26, and now i have a "camper" for the water ....
In 2011 we have experienced for 30 days (6/7 hours a day) in Malcesine (Verona) in the the north of Garda lake, with regular winds from 5 to 25 knots and an experience that I 'served a lot to know the limitations and advantages of sailing with MacX.
This year I pulled the MacX in Sibenik center Dalmatia - Croatia where I'm writing now, the sea is wonderful.
We been here 35 days , and every day we make from 20 to 40 nautical miles, a bit 'with the engine a bit' with the sails, we're having a great time.
Thank you very much for all the advice and the changes that I read in your beautiful forum, my apologies for the bad English of the translator of google

and I send you greetings from the beautiful Italy.
Hello everyone from Henry

Ciao Enrico,
Welcome to the group. I spent 2 weeks sailing the Aeolian islands (off north coast of Sicili for those unfamiliar with Italian geography

) with my family in July. Unbelievably beautiful! Great sailing, great food, great wine, wonderful people. Glad you are getting so much great cruising from your

and with makeup instead of wheels at the bottom of the side members ....

Portholes down low would be awesome - add those to the list behind stern rail seats

Cap Vega ... But the name given by previous owner even if I do not like ... E the family we decided to call Camale' like a chameleon for the ability in transformation on trailer, sail and power
I could not change his name so far 'cause in Italy seafaring tradition involves a complex procedure (superstition I believe) to change the name of a boat!
