Bow Won't Stay In V Block-Keel Rest Problem?

I'm new to trailer sailing and this forum. Recently bought a M25 (3871). I'm having the same problem as described in the other "Bow Won't Stay In V Block" post.
When on land if I lift the boat by jacking up the keel the bow returns to the V block. Should the hull rest on the keel and the keel rest on the block on the trailer?
The block that was on the trailer was damaged so I don't know what it looked like when new. But it seems logical to me that the keel should support the hull a little to take some of the load off the hull at the bunks.
Any help would be appericated.

Again, the "Mac Bump" needs to be tried first before you think that things aren't correct.
In short, here's the "Mac Bump" procedure: You load the boat up, drive forward a bit in a straight line and then hit the brakes sharply - the boat should slide forward neatly seat itself into the V-block. Then snug up the winch.
BTW, for extra security you should strap the boat to the trailer using a trucker's strap over the cockpit and down to the trailer on each side. Putting one-half twist into the strap it will prevent it from 'thrumming' (vibrating) as you drive.
If this procedure has not solved your problems then there's an issue with the trailer. If that's the case, photos of your setup will help others to determine what's up.

Most of the 25 trailers I've seen pictures of have a permanent support that you lower the keel onto once on the trailer to take that weight off of the bunks. Make sure that is it padded to protect the keel. Hopefully one of the guys with the earlier Mac/Ventures will respond here,

Thanks, I'll give the Mac Bump a try.
Yes I use a strap across the cockpit. Thanks for the half twist tip.
We've only need to use surface streets to get to the local launch but would like to tow to San Diego later this summer. The twisted strap will really help on that trip.
