Leftover VC17m gets lumpy after its mixed and left in can

Every year I pull out my can of vc17m from the year before and open it and find it lumpy..... Doesn't matter how well i mix it with my drill and mixer it stays lumppy. I hate tossing an almost full can of this stuff, is there some thinner that can be mixed into it that will dissolve the lumpiness and make it useable again. The old stuff in the older days didn't do this but then again it used a Xylol base back then. Peter
