Sanding bottom for Interprotec

I am a new member and perhaps this has already been answered before. I just bought a 2000 26x and I have to apply Interprotec. I don't like the idea of sanding the hull from beneath the trailer. Has anyone ever tried to put a 26x on its side, with the help of a boomtruck or backhoe: it would be first put on the ground, then one side pulled up untill the hull lies on itsopposite side, almost perpendicular to the ground. The boat would be lying on grass , possibly with car tires under the side of the hull. The boat would be prevented from falling back on either side with a 1/2 in rope going from a chainplate to nearby trees. The sanding/painting process would be much faster and more efficient with the hull vertical. Anybody has an idea if structural damage might happen?
