Moorings/Sunsail have a very nice, new combined facility in Road Town, Tortola. If you go, sail up to Anegada for the lobster! Amazing!

Even with spell check I have made some beauties too. That was a good one. :)

We have always gone with TMM with excellent service and results.
We are going again in January and have room for one more couple.
Also conch charters are supposed to be good. Carl

OK The more I look, the more I find?? I am now "considering" Puerto Rico??
No Matter where we go, it will be a fun trip, we always MAKE IT.. a fun trip...
I spent a LOT of weeks and months On Cozumel.. over the last close to 20 years and it never failed to amaze me how many folks seem to go on Vacation to be miserable.. :!:
Our Intent is to Celebrate The wife's retirement... I tossed out numerous destination's for her to consider... the choice is hers....
I offered Reasons or Ideas why we might consider visiting each one..over each other...
I did place a Dollar Amount on what I think would be prudent, for this Celebration ...
My Sweetheart got back from Cozumel Saturday..Soooooooooo
We discussed it Sunday.. She has for now, chosen my last Recommendation.. Tortola BVI... That's were she took her "sailing class" with Swains..
As we discussed the options and why she would like to return to the BVI's, she expressed a desire, for us both to take some classes and hone our skills and Pay the cost of the Certification cards...
Here is my train of thought.. PLEASE...... those who know, Correct me if I am mistaken??
We, the wife and I go someplace , New to Us to Dive and they ask to see are Cert's I let her her toss down her AOWSD .. Its an Advanced divers card..
As often as not they raise and eye brow and smile and say no less than OOOOhh : ) Your an Advanced Open Water Diver.... THEN.. I toss down my NAUI OWSI aka Scuba Instructors Card and we dive, any dive we want, no check out dives, no issues...
Soooooo I am "thinking??? " That the Level 3 Coastal Sailors Card will offer us much the same in accreditation..????????
So I ask? Does this Sound right? Or....is an ASA Card Pretty much worthless??? True True I have seen some pretty " Sub-Par" divers toss around AOWD and Rescue and even Dive Master cards..

Looks like we have decided to do Swains ASA Sailing School..Tortola BVI's ....The Fast Track Cruiser Class and then a few additional days cruising around in a 38' .. we end up with no less than a ASA 104 Cert.. Ya cant take it with ya $$$ haha heck kids all make more than I ever did anyway.. so here we go...next step up another ladder... 8)

Sounds great!

We are looking at doing our asa courses in the BVI's in March to celebrate the admiral's 40th. Sounds like nice sailing around there.

My brother took the same course with Rob Swain Sailing school in Tortola about 3 years ago. He raves about it and has recommended it to everyone. I'm looking into taking the Catamaran Fast Track Cruiser course with Swain this year as well.

Looks Like..... Swains is our Choice as well. 101 = 103 and then I'll do the 104 or we'll both do the Fast Track to Cruising....
I too may next year take the Cat Cert .. Never can have too many certs or too much knowledge.. :)
