Two firsts

Post by papawasarollin »

Hello all,

I, along with my wife and son, just achieved two firsts within the same trip: first solo sail as a family, and first overnight in the boat. There were no injuries, damage to the boat, and we are all still talking to one another :) .

I purchased my 2001 :macx: in October of last year after a year of searching. Since then, I have found this site and its forums have been instrumental in my positive experiences sailing. I have made modifications to my cabin floor, galley, plumbing, electric system and the mast-raising kit. An air-conditioning mod may be queued up for this Summer…

I thank you all for your ideas, advice, and wisdom,

John

John,
Isn't it great to be out on the water with your family and come back relaxed, ready for another trip.
As time goes on you and your family will enjoy more and add the boat as one of the family.
Have a great sailing Season !
