Hi

Well we are on the water at last, but sorry to say not in a Mac, yet!

Looked long and hard here in the UK for the right boat at the right price, even investigated importing them as I feel sure as the economy improves sales of the 26m will take off as long as the factory can keep up with production.

Ended up with a 19ft cuddy motor boat 'Bubbles', beautifully looked after by the previous owner, this kept the Admiral and the offspring happy. http://gallery.me.com/ajwidger/100088

Still will be sailing regularly with my pal.

We will be keeping 'Bubbles' at the park and launch at Littlehampton and look forward to exploring the Solent, Isle of Wight, Brighton etc.

Any Mac owners who want a ride please give me a call, it is the least I can do after having a great time this year on the X's and M's.

Still an avid reader of this forum and enjoy reading all your inspirational stories and will anytime crew for Mac skipper.

Owning a 26M a dream that may come true one day.

From what I hear, the Macgregor Factory is restricted to 1 boat per day due to enviroment air hazards in Ca.
If this is so than I would assume Rodger would keep U.S. demands satisfied before he ships overseas. This may not be the case depending on supply and demands and also the markup price in profits.

Seems so limiting. 1 boat per day. Of course the economy isn't helping either.
He would be better off moving to Florida like Hunter did and build more boats.

Nice boat. Looks a lot like the one I used to have.

Hey you can't sail it, but at least you are the water.

That was my wife's idea of boating until we met 8) All she liked to do was run hard and fast...alas that was in her younger days. :D :D :D Now she likes to go slow and steady, which I much prefer :!: Is that too much Information :?: :)

You're underway, making way, doing what you enjoy.

That's what counts.

Just remember, smiling too much underway may require plenty of brushing to remove sea salt.
