I have an old (but beautiful) wooden boat with inboard 22 feeet, but for many years dream of buying a
For now I'm happy to have found a forum so nice, I'll read a lot and I will make you many questions.
So I hope in your patience, above all for my poor knowledge of English.
Happy 2010 to everyone

Welcome aboard, Roberto. There is a long time forum member that is from Italy. His board name is
marsanden and I think he is near Salerno. You can PM (Private Message) him by clicking on his underlined board name. Good luck on your search and do not worry about your English, it is better than most of us native English speakers. Feel free to ask questions.

With friends of warm welcome.
Surely I'll get in touch with my fellow Italian.
The first thing I ask is what Americans think of

?
Why marjoram of Italians do not like this boat because they think it is not a good boat to sail and is not a good boat
I think it is a very intelligent design, has a generous interior space, and trucks easily and I have also seen videos where they defended very well in strong winds but can "escape" faster with the motor from the weather

If you haven't seen one in the flesh, you should try to get to the boat show in Rome- 20-28 February.
http://www.big-blu.it/. I believe the Italian dealer is exhibiting.

Ciao e benvenuto Roberto.
Ask your questions. The Mac is a misunderstood boat. Get your answers from owners, not critics.

Welcome Roberto!
The Macgregor is a very versatile boat! I hope you get the chance to look at one soon. Hopefully, you can find a Mac owner there who can take you out for a sail.
It's been a number of years since my wife and I have been to Italy; but we enjoyed our visits there a lot! I never got much further south than Piombino and Isle d' Elba! Beautiful places!
Welcome aboard!

Hey Doug,
After reading your comments about Battle star galactica I went to this site
http://www.icefilms.info/
and started watching this great 2004 edition of BG . I have been looking at an average of 4 shows a day and am now in 2007. Wow great sci fi show. One of the best I have ever seen. Unfortunately I now spend to much time watching and not enough time doing important stuff...and it's your fault

Hello everyone and thanks so much for the warm welcome...now in Italy soo hours 9 am, and you are all to bed
From your responses I have had confirmationthat the

is a boat charming, versatile and very confortable
interior, and I suspect that, contrary to what the critics say, is walking pretty good sailing

About how it goes upwind?
@ Quebec 1: is beautiful your

blue
@ Flembo 18: The stretch of sea near Salerno is very beautiful.
@ Irafatsar: would be nice to meet in San Diego or in Italy...someone said "only the mountains don't meet"
I close by sending a greeting to all of you and wishing you a happy new year ... why do not all speak the same language, do a chore to write, it took me 60 minutes to write this post
Bye bye Roberto
