I am currently in the Virginia suburbs of Washington DC. My Mac has been on the Potomac River for a year now. This past weekend I visited / bar hopped all around Chesapeake Beach, North Beach, Mayo, and Deale Maryland and absolutely loved it. I decided that I need to relocate my Mac to the Chesapeake Bay, and of course I come to you for suggestions.
Can anyone recommend a good marina? With Slips availabe?
Thanks,
Tom

Tom,
Under the venue you're in now, Destinations, Clubs, Events and Venues, look up the posts under "Chesapeake Bay." In it, they lists marinas that some members keep their Mac's. You also may wish to join us on July 11th & 12th?

Re: Mac Owners on the Chesapeake (relocating)
I was all ready to recommend Casa Rio Marina - home to a lot of Macs - including my Bossa Nova
- Then you ask about "slips available."
Holiday Hill Marina had several slips available, when I went over there a couple of weeks ago to look for a "backup" launching ramp for the Bay Gam next weekend. They're on Whitemarsh Creek, up north of Cadle Creek and just east of Camp Letts; driving in, you take MD-214 through Edgewater to Carrs Wharf Road (at the Mayo post office on MD-214), but look for their sign and turn-off to the right.
With the Mac's centerboard hull, though, we don't have to worry about draft ... there are a few more marinas to the east, out on Selby Bay. (Turn left on Turkey Point Road.)
Hope this helps - plenty of room more more Macs on The Bay!
