Actually, I'm more interested in that Mercury Sable that is towing the 26X. I'd like to see that baby pull my 26X up a wet ramp!

If these are the boats used for the brochure, then haven't both been "sunk", (or filled with water while afloat)? Not that it harmed the boats in either way, but just curious. (Maybe one could argue salvage price and get a really good deal.) )

When they sank the boats..did they drill a hole in the boat so it would sink..or did they just fill it with water?

Those early boats that they tested were unfinished hulls #1, 2 & 3. Only hull #4 had an interior liner which was finished off and taken to the Seattle boat show in Jan of 1995. I wonder what hull# Roger's boat is? Since this was also the boat that rigging, hardware and motors were tested on, I would think that it has a lot of old mounting holes in it. Notice it has the old style of seat backs and the lighting switches are located forward between the windows. Definitely and early boat like mine, although it has the later galley insert. The overhead shot has no boom, sails or even a fore or backstay.
