The windows on my old 1972 Mac 22 leak and are buggered up with more caulk than you could ever imagine. I'd like to remove them, clean and re-bad them with a new sealant. I used to do bay windows and sunroofs on vans years ago, but wondered if anyone could recommend the best way to seal. These are "sandwich" type windows. Maybe replace but doubt they are still available new.

Lastly, the rubber trim that sits in the sill on the inside is nasty, and I would like to replace as well. Any suggestions?

I have been thinking about doing the same thing with mine. I have called around and haven' t found any sutable rubber seal that matches the "H" style that holds in the plexi windows.

a search on leaking windows gave several informative threads, perhaps this is the best of the listings but not the only one, your windows may be held in with a rubber seal or it could just be glue that looks like a rubber seal, regardless you might consider searching on "windows leaking" and have a look at the results.
