For number of reasons I don't want to tow our boat with the motor at back. We have limited space available in our van. And since
this is a four stroke engine it travels much better in upright position.
I'm planning to make a bracket to hung my 10hp Honda outboad on a winch post next to the bow of our MacGregor and I wonder if anybody
has any experience to share about similar arrangement.
Appreciate all constructive comments

Re: Outboar hunged on a trailer?
I had a similar arrangement on my old boat and it worked well. I started to construct a bracket that would attatch to the trailer ladder, but decided I didn't need the extra tongue weight, even though the Honda BF2 is 28 lbs.
As long as the tongue weight is ok,and the motor isn't too heavy,I think it would be ok.
