I am modifying my head so I can take a shower. Thinking about removing the carpet and putting something in it's place.

Anybody done this?
After taking off the carpet, do you need to do anything to the glue on the inside of the hull?
Recomedations to put on the wall?

Anything else?

You could try using a plastic/ fiberglass sheeting 4' x 8' called FRP that you get from places like Home DePot. I use it for shower tub enclosures in my apartment complex. One side is dimpled to hide wear and the color is white for more light in your inside shower. It has it's own type of glue for perminate bonding.
We use a 2.5 gal. solar shower in the back of the cockpit and hang it off the boom or mast support. If modest wear your swimsuite.

Mirrored walls would at least make the head look bigger. Otherwise, IMO, that area is just too small for an average size person, unless a sit-shower / sponge bath is desired! Next to consider is what about a shower pan / drain? I do believe this M mod has been done tho.

Consider an alternative - showering in the companionway. Simply, a plastic tote bin, placed on the floor in the companionway (I remove my ladder first), inwhich one stands. Water delivery system of your choice, shower curtain optional. I use solar or stove heated water on my X / KayakDan uses a Zodi / pump on his M. Waste water dumps overboard, or, my practice - greywater tank.

Done that too many times. Too cold, or bugs or people around. The old style 26 footers using the head to sit on is what I am doing. A little dam on the floor to hold 1 or 2 inches or water. small pump to pump out and handle the rest. Better than being outside in the cold, bugs and people or use the ugly shore side showers.

I have a shower in our it's in the mods section. To answer your question I used laminate veneer to replace the hull lining it didn't take the hull contour perfectly so I filled the gaps between the hull inner surface and the aft face of the laninate with expanding foam this gave it inpact resistance the thin veneer is brittle when not bonded to anything

I still dont know how to copy a quote to make the highlight box.

If you edit a quote, make sure not to remove the [/quote] at the end.

It's quite simple. Just place the cursor at the beginning of what you wish to quote, and press (and hold down) your left mouse button. That should highlight an area. As you move your cursor around, you will see the area which is highlighted, expand. Just highlight what you wish, let go of the left mouse button, and then press and release the right mouse button. You will see a list of options. Place the cursor on "copy" and press the left mouse button. Whatever you highlighted will be copied. Now, go to whatever you are posting, and place the cursor where you wish the copied item to go, and press the right mouse button again. Choose "paste" and press the left mouse button. What you copied, will now be pasted. NOW you can go and highlight what you just pasted on the page by again placing the cursor at the begining of what you want "quoted", and pressing (and holding down) the left mouse button, slide your cursor along to highlight what you just pasted. Release the button and go to the "Message body" area and choosing Quote. What you just pasted will be placed in a quote box.

Just edit out the parts you don't want to quote...leave the two quote boxes and the posters name.

PS No more wise cracks from me for awhile after tomorrow. We leave Saturday. I am really concerned about getting over the border from Calexico to Mexicali without hassle. I will be towing the boat and my wife will be towing a small utility trailer with some (not too many) personal items (and a refrigerator, which is my main worry) - - - those items mostly being disguised as camping equipment - - - you see - - - we haven't had time to get our paperwork EXACTLY in order (the key words being our paperwork)
