Q1 - Actually, he had a problem with the faster white hull Mac :macx: heading off in a different direction...to chase the wind!!! :D

In short tho, the issue on Penobscot Bay was that being out front, I tasted some really good wind and deviated from the sailplan, then lost radio & visual contact with Dan, thus adding an extra day to my cruise. There's a write up in Events & Venues:
PENOBSCOT BAY

A safe, yet valuable lesson in the importance of having / following a sailplan, recognizing boat / equipment / personal limitations and not taking for granted the buddy system.

We're taking 2 busloads of grade 8s to Quebec City next week. I guess I better pack for winter weather. I won't have a seniorita waiting for me. :( Dealer said boat may be ready for pick up later this week. It would be nice if I could take her out before I go to QC.

Highlander, dreamer,
Looks like thats the end of the snow storms....Although The last 2 days at 8 am in the morning Québec City has been the 3rd coldest  place in America behind the north pole (which belongs to Canada) and Yellowknife. Eh! dreamer...Pack your long underwear if you don't have a seniorita  :!:
Checked the marina yesterday and there was 12  feet of hard packed snow blocking the entrance to the Saint Lawrence. The current in front of the marina (Marina de la Chaudiere) looked to be around 8knots streaming in from the Chaudiere river.
8) I decided to pick up le Bleu Marin(adj.) on the Victoria day weekend with my sun Daniel.
Looking at a Blue Ford Explorer to haul the fastest blue :macm: hull!
Decisions decisions...

and the Canadians beat Boston tonight yeah...Boston is toast now boys . If there is a betting man out there tonight I put 1,000.00USD that Montreal beats Boston! ( I need a boat buck to put in an auto pilot)

What happened to civility, manners, etc. ?.........

oh yeah, that's only for in the pub :P

Aside from the shame of the Canucks this year, it has been a real treat to see how well the Canadiens are doing this season. (Also to see how well the Sen's are doing too )

Regards,
Shane

Wow, now this might just work with my idea of a full figured Scottish Lass wearing only a tartan tam from the waist up as a figurehead
