Look also at the photo of my boat, with dimensions overlaid. The ball is only about 1m from the vee-bumper where it touches the bow, yet there is plenty of room to open the hatch. You have more tongue than that by almost double, so you could move it still farther forward if you need more tongue weight.
That should give you some flexibility in what you need to do.

Yes I managed to check the hatch clearance yesterday after fitting the winchpost in the new position and it's better than I thought it would be.
I might also consider an 18" towball extender (possibly two!) just for the boat ramp.... everything helps I guess
