Could be they didn't start numbering at 1 Or the 100 manufactured is a rounding thing and they made about 100 of them.

If Mistral is not a typo (Mistrial) then it is probably named after a type of wind in the Mediterranean. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mistral_(wind)

Hi Jason
I looked at Mistral December of 2022. Liked her a lot. From what I gathered she was one of the last built and was hull 101. I think the 100 mentioned is just an "about" number.
Was very close to purchasing her but went for a X442 instead.
Often think I should have stuck with the Macgregor.
Was wondering how you got on with the blisters on the hull.

Hey Mate,
Yeah the blisters were much much worse than what the surveyor picked up. Approximately 1800 blisters detected and repaired by me. I absolutely love the boat, updated all the Electronics, re-did a lot of plumbing, a whole bunch of paint, and about to start on some canvas work. On the recent haul out got a lot of regular maintenance tasks done too. She's looking great. I'll put up a picture in a couple of months when she's got all her sails back on board but for now here's the extent of the blisters. Also changed the colour scheme topside a little.

Looking very nice Jason
I asked the local guys here about the blister repairs.
Ballpark to strip and redo the whole hull was $40,000.
Doing the job yourself would have saved a lot on that.
