That was from the couple in the other boat rafted up alongside! :o
I dont know what the little 'eyes' on the end of the line were meant to represent, but please forgive me if my old eyes didnt understand what was going on - I wasnt there after all. I went and had another look to try and comprehend the clip.

If I understand correctly, its the inside of your boat being severely deflected inwards by outside pressure ? If that is the case, I am not impressed by the structural integrity of the hull, and the original estimate of a 2mm deflection by one contributor seems a bit optimistic.

One way to look at it, the inward deflection, or flexing, of the hull may speak of it's structural integrity, whereas a stiffer hull may have cracked or punctured under the same circumstances.

It's the fastest sailboat when motoring  in the marina! It can also sail faster than most of the sailboats 8) in the marina. Everyone is really impressed.

I only sailed with a white hulled Mac once and it ate my wake. But then we all know its not the colour of the hull but the quality of the man behind the wheel that makes the difference eh John!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
