The package is on sale right now for just $395.00. That's about $100.00 off our retail price.

You must call the store at 303.459.2755 to receive the special price.

Art, how long will your sale be running?

another question for Art....what are the chances for making seats for our X's? I would imagine the market would be good for a limited run. I just don't see spending the big dollars the other place is charging...and sorry to jump the thread, the question just kinda popped into my head...

How does the collective group feel about the "Much simpler Bluewater Yachts Stern rail seat installation" method using toggler bolts, outlined in the Mod section?

dont like it. installed the seats on our M, following the directions to the letter.. piece of cake, solid, durable.

I assume this is tre mod you are talking about http://www.macgregorsailors.com/modt/in ... ?view=1463

Discussed before at this thread http://www.macgregorsailors.com/forum/v ... 5&p=211230

I'll be sure and post if there are any problems with the install that develop. It's extremely solid, and with three togglers behind the two main rails with four contact points each, the load is fairly well spread and there's no chance that a bolt failing is going to cause the seat to fail.

But if a problem ever does develop, I'll post it.

I am sure it will work fine. I just don't think it is the best practice, but should work well. I just didn't find any engineering flaws with bwy's directions.

No doubt many of the mods I have done others would have done differently.

Looks like you have to shorten the life lines, what's the best way to do that :?:

Here's what I did: http://www.macgregorsailors.com/modt/in ... ?view=1479

This lets the lifelines drop away from the spreaders when you're raising and lowering the mast. I used a lifeline clamp and turnbuckles, but I will eventually have new swaged lifelines made.
