I've been a member for years, but wasn't able to post for several years as the board wouldn't accept my password. I just tried to reset it and was able to. I've owned a 26M since 2006. :macm:

Thanks so much Russ! And such a great job you've done with this forum as it has evolved over the 'decades', you definitely deserve an award from the academy of old timers too!

I really love the fact that even when I've been absent for years, the board still remembers 'your posts' so that I can still go back and see what happened in topics that I have posted in a long time ago. This is a very cool feature to keep us connected to the past.

I guess that I fit in here somewhere. Officially joined in 2005, but had lurked for a few years before that. Finally sold my X in 2015,because the Admiral said that it was the airplane, or the X. I still have the airplane and the Admiral (39 years in July). I pop up and make the occasional outrageous statements, then quietly go back to Moderator duties.

Still miss the X, but get a sailing fix a few times a year by chartering sailboats from San Juan Sailing out of Bellingham.

I joined in 2007 following my purchase of a :macx: in 1996. I recall joining as needed some info and found this site on the Internet in the process. I previously owned a Mac Mac 25 which I purchased right out of college in 1992. I am now 59 and looking forward to many more years of using my :macx:. I have so many fond memories of taking the family and friends out sailing, fishing, scuba diving, or just hanging out!
