I have a walker bay that I might tow on trips, or I might just only use the paddle board that gets brought on board very easily. It's just me and my two small dogs though. No kids admiral or the like. The paddle board works well for a quick hop to shore but not supplies.

There are some very cool folding plywood dinghies you could make easily and somewhat cheaply. One could be sized custom to wherever you feel like carrying it. When I go to the Bahamas, I will make one to have in addition to the paddle board.I will have to think long and hard about just where to keep it. It will be a permanent addition to the boat and must essentially disappear when stowed.

Congrats on the boat purchase.
