Actually the closest thing I have to a mistress has a hull as well as a head

. And I don't have one I have three even if one of them is inflatable, but then thats OK cause she doesn't have a head

Hunter 26 Trailer Sailor
Is Not Ready. . . . there are problems
Finally after talking he admitted problems with the new 26. For what ever this means . . . sailing characteristics....???
You will need a decent size tow vehicle 3/4 to 1 ton Truck Van SUV.
Boat should weight in ready to launch and sail respectfully in excess of . . . .5000# They are now hoping for a July launch. He admitted "they" were tempted to bring he boat as is. As out of the water no one would know then difference between the working unit and the mock-up.

Maybe Eric3
It took me awhile to loosen him up but he did in short order. Yet he really never tipped his hand if he had a hand to tip ( real pertinent info )
Its wider and lot heavier and about twice the cost. . But it will in the end sail better than any power sailor that has come before it. . .or so he says and that's why ( he says) it was missing from the show.
When its ready in spite of the additional cost it will
KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF! and that's a direct quote...

I talked to a Hunter guy at Strictly Sail Chicago.
He said it would be a power-sailor, ready in "about 6 - 8 months".
When pressed for more info he said "If I told you I would have to kill you."
I asked him to tell my wife.
A friend that sold Hunters in the 90's said that Hunter wanted to build something similar to the 26X and proposed that at a corporate meeting. Hunter is part of the Luhrs Group, which also makes powerboats. It was rejected because their powerboat divisions thought it would be competition for them, even though the boats they make are quite a bit bigger, I believe.
