Would you buy a used Macgregor without a test sail first?

When I bought my boat, owner had it on the trailer, launched and started the engine. I checked the rigging, but the boom was still in the cardboard!! The sails were all still in the bags, never out!!

The mast had been up, but never rigged with sails. This was an 01X that I got last May. I didn't mind not sailing a test sail. (It was my second MacX)
