Dimitri,
After my stb goal snapped off I replaced both with a bolt-on guide kit WM sells.
It's $105. The kit comes with square steel tubing bent in an "ell", brackets, U-bolts, 2" PVC tube cut to fit, and lights for the endcaps. WM# 7886823.
Trailer Guide kit
Yeah, it should cost $75... I'm getting used to it.
It fit the trailer C-frame nicely. Went on in about an hour & a half with my mate helping, and is really sturdy. In salt water I don't know how long it'll last but I figure the weak spot are it's U bolts which are plentiful.
Hardest part was getting off the old rusted parts, I had to take a 4" angle grinder to one bolt.
Also think Mac factory may have these but this being prime season here I wanted to sail.

Argo, thanks for the info and link. I had already posted to the other (goal post) thread before I saw your response here. Looks like you are located pretty close to me so your trailer must be rusting away also. I'm in this situation where I keep buying/fixing little things (new wheels, new tires, bow roller, fixed front and mid bunks, etc.) so I'm wondering how much money (and time) to keep putting into this terminally ill patient versus just getting a new trailer like our local buddy Jack has done out in Palm beach.

The encouraging thing about your situation is that it appears your trailer is 3 years older than mine and is still going in this climate!

Recently got some trailer prices since likewise, mine is dying a piece at a time. My bunks and bearings need to be checked & fixed, but my ramp is only about five miles from home.
Road King has a model they say works, but is galvanized not aluminum, and single axle, not dual. About $2400.
I also think a Continental or Performance trailer could fit, since it's a shallow vee hull. I'm sure these are more, but can be had with dual axle, ss brakes, & aluminum frame. Locals with trailers have told me brakes will die no matter what kind or what you do though.
