Rudders up or down?

Sounds like a storng concensus. I guess I just need more practice docking single handed. I might try experimenting w/ fractional CB. Water current is more of a problem than wind in my situation.
NautiMoments: when you say "reversing in" do you mean running in reverse as in backing into the slip? Do you find greater control that way?
