You shouldn't need running lights or an achor light. We sail during daylight hours and I have an extra lantern you can use for an anchor light if it would make you feel better. If you have time go to Lowes and pick up a solar yard light for 5 bucks. I have two, one for mast head and the other for deck lighting.

Lights? We don't need no stinking lights!
