You probably already guessed my boats new name, but wait till I post pics of the vinyls once they're installed. NICE :P

That's awesome! I'd love to take our MAC down here next year....!
We winter in the Keys during the coldest times, but when it starts warming up we love Fort L....West Palm, etc....
Jonathan Dickenson State Park in Hobe Sound/Jupiter is like a second home as is Jetty Park in Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral. We try and get to the Panhandle before we go back.

I cannot wait to see the pics! ;-)

I am very close to Cocoa Beach and have spent a good deal of time at Jetty Park. Oddly enough, I've haven't taken my :macx: out that way; seems to prefer the warmer waters around South Florida and the Bahamas

I hope you can bring your MAC down next year, that would be awesome. My cousin Becky and her husband Steve started out with an S MAC, moved to a Hunter 35' and then switched over to a 35' Californian powerboat (I tease Steve endlessly as he always really, really hated power boaters). They are still members of the old MAC Venture boating club in Miami and have a LOT of friends with sailboats in the area. Always a fun time when I go down to visit !

Have a safe trip back to the far north!

How awesome! We love Jetty Park:-) I believe I saw a 26X leaving the port there, the day before we left for Melbourne Beach, which was on Sunday....

Oh yeahhhh, I agree with warmer waters. Would LOVE to take it to the Keys. If we feel confident after this summer on the boat, it's something we are seriously considering;-)

Sounds like there are lots of fun people in the Miami area....who knows what next year will bring. Exciting to think about it! Lets keep in touch! :)

Announcing the new (and oh so often overused) name for my :macx:

SERENITY

My application doesn't have anything to do with the myriad of reasons the name has been used in the past by others. SERENITY is named after the ship in the fantastic TV Series, Firefly. Love that show, love the characters, love that ship!

Starspun,

My avatar graphic is exactly how the name appears on my :macx: ! Thank god for Photoshop and the OnOne plugins; I re-sized a much smaller graphic to 4966 x 3254 and upped the resolution so the graphics folks could make it without any distortion. I got 4 of them at 13.5" high for only $145; good deal considering how great they came out. I gotta say, I like the way it looks on the ole girl !

Thanks, it's nice to know someone thinks this is as cool as I do. 8) 8) 8)

Overused? Perhaps. It's a wicked awesome graphic, though. One of the best I've ever seen! 8)
