Chances are you will get Knocked down before you steal the wind. :(
But thats only a min. or so before you slack the line to luff and bring the boat back up on keel.
Slam Dunk, some one cruiseing with you , take vidio and pictures. :D
Hope ya all have a great trip and bring back treasured memories.

Just maybe we'll "steal your wind" :D :D :D

For most of us here on this site we would have to contour act the forces applied to our Mac by having a spinnaker that big by moving lots a weight aft. Billy doesn't have to worry about this because his engine doubles as an extra 200lbs of ballast over a Honda 50. The man thought of everything.

weight of engine is above the center of gravity forces. Keel weight needs to be below the center of effort.
Sometimes the more ump the better the boat can defy and overcome the moment of mind over mater.
The Mac.X and M already was built with support for a 90 hp outboard.

Okay. Enough is enough. All you Pollywogs will pay a dear price, for this Shellback will seek his due rewards. Prepare to pay your respects to King Neptune! I will seek waivers for those deemed worthy... And contrary to popular belief, our code.... is more than "guidelines"!

If you mean engine I will still only have my Honda 50. Now if you mean another 115 sqft of sail, well that is still up to my R&D department here at RSW headquarters :o .

RSW CEO
ROAD Soldier out.

Well it looks like we have two new additional MacGregor pirates joining us this year, C130King (VA) and fishheadbarandgrill (SC)

Hopefully, Mr Ron Mohler will also grace us with his presence again this year. Maybe he is up for a sailing rematch, with out injuries:)

In addition to all the other sail boats, there will be 5 local Macs who regularly sail with NCSail.org. That will make a total of 7 Macs, an new record for us!

Come join the fun if you can.

Sounds like an infestation.

I'm almost ready. The a/c came in for my billy box today and the new galley is installed. Now for the microwave and water system.
