Heh, sorry--I guess the dealers put the anchors on. Mine came with what appears to be a 6# danforth style and about 100' of rode with a 6' 1/4" chain. It certainly wasn't enough to anchor along Frog Rock at Avalon.

I figured I'd get about 30' feet as well based on a 7:1 scope. I've got a sounder, so I'll just make sure I'm in 30' of water or less when I anchor. Thanks!

You run out of rode pretty quickly, you'll find....

35 feet of water, deck height 4 feet, wave height easily 2 feet...now you are suddenly in 41 feet of depth, and your 200 feet of rode is down to <5:1

30 feet of quarter inch chain minimum , 200 feet of rode is ok :macm:
