I noticed in your pic that the you have tied down the middle part of the reefed main through the reefing points. Does this make a big difference in your experience? Reduce heeling? Better reefed performance?
Maybe this should be a seperate topic. Does anyone else do this? I never have.
Just wondering.

Reefing grommets between the tack and clew cringles are simply to tidy-up the sail. I don't bother with them.

The U tube video was of Leon and I when I was visiting him in SFO. The purpose of posting it was to show that the Mac handles moderate seas and winds with relative ease IMHO. Keeping in mind of course that it was Leon's highly modified M, sails, keel, etc etc etc .... all modified far beyond stock.
This picture was my Pegasus 26M.
