Lost my camera... just got a new one. I will take a video of the run of lines and post here. Hopefully this week. If not, I'll be gone for 1 week and back on 4/20 so will post after that. I have Mike's exact setup for the deep reef, and a variation for the 1st reef. Good stuff. Will show both.

Hi,
For what itis worth; I was involved in the original rotating mast testing. it was on my 26D race boat for a while, still is. The 26M has a tang under the mast designed for a rotation control. Roger designed this to have a rotation control. Why does it not have one? Because, max rotation is needed for sailing upwind. Reducing rotation will slow the boat. Much testing into this matter, Roger decided, not needed. Since the parts were already designed, they have been left on the boat, just like nipples on a boar hog. You can make great use of rotation controls to hold the rotation going downwind with a spinnaler pole trying to unrotate the mast, I do that. But limiting rotation will slow you. Wish we could rotate it some more/deeper for down wind. It is a cheap mod to prepare controls for the mast, if you do it I'd love to hear your results, might be diff from mine!
