Boy, can we use the water. I'm going to scout all the way around the lake
in the next few days, looking for the best place to launch.

We just had a little rain early this morning. Not very much, but every
little bit helps...

You boat value is going up with the drought due to its' low draft 8)

Great. Just called and rescheduled Southport for 5/29.

No answer at Wilmington City Docks. Left a 2nd message to sign up for 5/30

Thanks!

Lynn and I regret that we won't be able to make the new dates. It's too close to our planned departure date for the Erie Canal. Hope we can catch up with the group at the Pirate Sail in September or sooner.

We had a great sail there a couple of years ago. We anchored in the cove to the right of the maritime center. Rented bikes from the marina and rode around looking at houses.

I'll probably meet you guys on the water on the 30th. The 29th is my youngest's birthday and I'm getting the sense that unless I want to become a live aboard, I will be home that day. :) ....unless I get the whole family to come.

Bring em all. Hopefully there will be other kids there. If not my wife loves kids and will probably spend the whole weekend playing with them.

I got a call from Chris at Southport Marina and he said that there must be some kind of confusion as somebody had cancelled reservations for June 6th and that he has not received any confirmations from anyone.

New Date May 29-31, 2015

Friday Night at Southport Marina
Saturday evening eat at Paddy's Hollow, spend night at Wilmington City Docks
Sunday return to ramp and recover.

Please Please, Either post here or PM me and let me know if you can make it so I can let Chris know about how many spots we will need. If you know of someone that is coming but has not posted please let me know.

To confirm your reservations call:
Southport Marina (910)457-9900
Wilmington City Docks (910)520-6875

Looks like a perfect forecast for sailing.
