My boat is tarped, it's 34 degrees F, there's snow on the ground, it's gray, and it's raining.

I wish I were there, too. Or Florida. :|

Florida is getting close to being full, all the roads and most of the water ways. Hard to turn around and not run into someone from a cold climate .
Come to Texas, No Snow Birds here, Just Winter Texans!

Well it's cold and wet in Greece right now with snow in the mountains.
Definitely not suitable boating weather this time of the year. So there's nothing to feel 'jealous' about.
In fact, I wouldn't mind coming to Florida too :) for a couple of months.
Ft. Lauderdale would do it for me. Some great boating going on there.
I guess we can't have it all, can we . . .

Thank you all for putting in a word.
Have been away from the Mac family too long and felt I may have been forgotten.
Nice to see that today's moderators are yesterday's avid posters.
And Heath, just keeps going on, moving forward. All good. Congrats to all and keep it up please!

Stinking hot here, around 100 Degrees F (37,5c), problem is when its hot here you cant sail, normally a big wind blowing from the North, last 2 days we have had strong wind warnings and I think 5 of the last 7 days we have had gale force or strong wind warnings and not looking a whole lot better for the next few days at least

My youngest son did a semester abroad in Queensland (UQ), which happened to be the fall semester, so he had some very nice weather, especially toward the end. In fact, at the end, he did a week-long trip on a catamaran charter out of Whitsundays, including snorkeling and scuba. Great photos, great memories, and great people (except for one couple, who were super obnoxious, but weren't from Australia - and no, not North American, either :P ).

Closest I've been to Australia is Jakarta and Singapore (I really liked Singapore). Maybe some day. :(

All year round sailing in Queensland, although for a couple months in summer it can be a bit hot sleeping in the boat.. Hottest summer on record this year...

Yeah I'm a fan of Singapore too. Actually my last girlfriend (before meeting and marrying my wife 12 years back), was a Singaporean MTV model (typing carefully while looking over shoulder) :D

40C here yesterday in Gold Coast, Queensland - only place to be was out on the water, and ultimately, in it!
Sailed past your boat MacPaul26 - on the way to and back from Peel island - 15-18 knot northerlies on the way back - averaged 4-5 kts on heady alone - awesome! Bit of a long haul getting there motoring into it though :?
