Try a 14x13 prop. Seems to be the best config for etec/mac. Surprised about your top speed with the 90 hp, which same as mine on a 50 hp. I don't have the huge torque issue, however. The right prop may solve the problem and convert that excess torque into mph. I would guess that you should be able to hit high 20's to 30 mph.

One thing is for sure, once you pass 24mph with an M, you have yourself a different boat.

On glass water, she's a dream to pilot over 22mph.

Thanks to all for the info:

Took my boat out on Lake Jordan yesterday with a 14X11 prop. Hit 22-24 knots at about 5400 RPM no ballast. 19 -21 at 5200 RPM with full ballast. The pull to starboard is not too bad bad with no ballast, and about nothing with full ballast. Will have to play with the tilt and trim tab. My next step is to find a 14 or 13 3/4 X 13 prop and see how that works.

These boats are GREAT!!!!!!
