Greetings Captain Jack and Neighbour Terry!!
Jack:
G'day mate and good on ya!! Do for the rest of us snowbound souls!!!
I do look forward to your upcoming mod's, you inspire me.
Terry:
Thanks for the heads up on the plugs and paint, I'll chat with Gerry and we're down in Coquitlam on the weekend, celebrating Orthodox Xmas, (1 week) late. So i will drop by his place on Friday, will solve the ugly holes.
I'm dropping by Dave at North Sails to pick up my new 150 Gennie. I didn't mention it before but I installed a Harken 00Al last spring and it's great, made up a lifting brace from electrical conduit and Tadah!!! it worked. i love the stiffer foil, and I mounted another mast hound for my spinnaker halyard and modified how Gerry rigged the stays on the original hound.
We moved up to Vernon last year, kinda miss my San Juans (OK, they're not really my "islands" but we do love sailing them!!! Next spring we're doing a week of Shuswap Lake sailing and camping should be fun..
Again, thanks for the info, Terry, and have you checked out the Mac Sailors's BC web site?? It's a little sparce but here's hoping it grows, eh??
Take care and happy new year.

Brian;
I am interested in your experience with Northsails. Is the location just at the south end of No.#5 road in Richmond? I live 5 minutes away (Ladner) and have been contemplating a new mainsail from them. Actually, if they have the quality and price I may get a headsail from them also as I have been looking at the Schaefer Snapfurl CF700 rollerfurler and will require a lufff tape headsail. Currently have hank-ons. PM me.

Oh, I found the correct trays where they're *supposed* to be, there just aren't any in our sizes - at least not in white...Scott wrote:K-Mac, ask the dep't dude. Our local HD, Lowes and the local owned store have the Mac size plugs and other sizes that I have used for various other mods.but they never seem to have the two sizes needed for the Mac.

Scott, Youz cracks me up, Man!!!
Scott:
Having lived and worked just outside R/D, N.Carolina, I'm just cracking up here, over your little rant!!! I would really miss your humour, if you suddenly stopped contributing. Hey, did you sell that old girl or did you keeps her, (the boat I mean)???
Terry:
I've dealt with Dave at N/S for a long time, he's great. I got a great price on my Genny, and bought my furler through him, hardly a markup from Cruising Direct. So what can I say. I can chat with you off line if you want. PS: That's funny, my Dad live 10 min. from 5 rd. in Richmond.
Small world DUDE!! (That was for Scott.)
PS: Scott, I really love NC and SC!!!! I met some of the most amazing and thoughtful people down in them thar parts!!!
Regards, Brian

Macshales, I live in liberty ,Mo.
As for my boat I have it advertised here and other places.
Funny sidebar, This site, is as of yet, (2 weeks) the only site I have gotten responses from. 5
With the kids all growed up and no cruising destinations in MO a smaller day sailor would be an easier boat to justify. That and a Sunsail charter ownership for next winter!! Can you say, the Caribean?

Scott:
I did notice the MO address, but the closest I got was NC and SC so not I'm not assuming too much in terms of character traits. LOL
Jus' found those Southern folks were awful friendly and good people.
Fer a guy from the frozen North!!!
Regards, Brian
PS: good luck on the boat sale. I'm sure the next guy will enjoy it!!
