I actually eventually motored around nearly the whole lake...never did find anywhere on the "correct "side that was shallow enough to drop an ancor. And couldn't find useable beach either, most of the lake has trees or rocks running right up to or even in to the water.
It's a fairly new reservoir and so the vegatation that was covered by filling it is still there...supposedly makes for great fishing though...
Now I know why pretty much the only people who go there are wakeboarders and fisherman....
I think it's time to invest in colored lines. That was on my list for next year, might be a good idea to bump it up a season.
