we just use the rudder lines to pull up - just cleat them off after you lower the rudder of course, or grab both lines with one hand.


i do have a piece of old dock line with knots that i hang from the cleat too...

Great. I will check out HD, etc...are they fairly UV resistant or do they need to be painted? Then again, I am sure they will be cheap enough to change if they yellow or crack
