Moe,
Keeping the Whaler and dumping the Mac. We all thought you had better judgement than that. :D
Seriously though, you will be missed.

Well, speaking as someone who also owns a Whaler, I can see Moe's point... the quality of the BW products is absolutely outstanding, making Mac's pale badly in comparison. Whalers truly are the "Mercedes of boats". Plus, if Moe's really doing more powering than sailing it just makes sense if you have to choose.

Now Moe, I that doesn't mean I like the idea of losing you from our community, though - in fact it's a crying shame - but at least I do understand.

God speed, and may you both always have good health and the fairest of weather in which to enjoy it together!

But a Whaler is so much smaller than a Mac :?

Is there a message board equivalent of retiring someone's number? How about hanging his avatar on a banner from the rafters?

Moe, obviously you did not read the fine print in the moderator contract that Heath had you sign.

Clause 3.1.7a.3 states.... "The undersigned, AKA moderator, cannot leave the board unless 2/3 of the board members agree."

I think you need to post a poll to see if the board members agree. I think you will find that you are endentured to this board for a long time.

This board is like a family and none of us want to see you leave. Maybe Heath needs to start a Boston Whaler forum.

I think if Moe had a 26M, instead of a 26X, he would have kept that instead of the Whaler.
If he had the faster blue 26M, I know he would have kept that.

Well, now that its out, Moe has painted his :macx: blue and re-arranged the interior into the :macm: style for resale value, rumor has it.....

I hope this is merely an attention-getting ploy of Moe's to have us beg him to stay.... and in that case, it is working....

if not just a ploy, well, Moe i want to thank you for the general help and info you provide, and specifically for those answers i sought online here.

I nominate Moe as an honorary lifetime MacSailor, including reincarnations, and moderator onsite here as long as he visits regularly.

I hope not, I'm going to try to go look at his boat next week.

Why do you go to such great lengths just to start an argument? The photos Kevin posted were of the 305 Whaler (32' long with the pulpit), while the review you posted to "prove" your point was for a 26' boat.
