Hi everybody,
Thanks again for all for your participation.

I am still looking for a nice solution for the fuel tanks and found a very nice one:

What do you think about this:

https://www.kouskoukis.gr/product/rezervouar-inox-45lt/

It is Inox and for 45liters.
The question is: Do you think that it will fit?
The dimensions are:
60 (L) x 30 cm (B) x 25 + 5 cm (H) (tank + connections)

I really like that but I dont know if it will fit.

Too high, I think, but with big luck it could work...

I agree with Kurz..seems too high.

You might be better with 2 of these.

I think the problem are the connections that make it 5cm higher in that region. :(
I will go to the store personally and ask if I can bring it back if it will not fit and buy the other ones that you are suggesting @Russ.

Than I would buy 4 of these 25liter tanks. It has these dimensions: 44 x 29,5 x 21 cm.
I think that these should fit. What do you think @Russ?

If you can bring it back from the store, that would be best. The fittings on the top are the biggest challenge to get to fit.

Hi All!

While I appreciate the convenience of online and catalog shopping it still nice to deal with a real person in a real place…especially with a fiddly thing like fuel tanks.
It’s not only the tanks but also the connections to be made, the routing of the lines along with possible a fuel filter/water separator and maybe a selector valve….

I wonder if the forum could collectively make a data/dimensional page in the resources section listing some of the various dimensions and various products owners seem to be looking for. Like the dimensions of the fuel cubbies on the Mac26X and Mac26M… the dimensions of the primary locations folks have used for placing batteries….the various make/model/volume/dimensions of fuel tanks…the various make/type/capacity/dimensions of batteries….a list of potential suppliers/manufacturers/websites for the various bits and bobs that commonly are sought after when making repairs/modifications….

Adi isn’t the first to explore the need for fuel tanks or batteries (and hopefully not the last! :D )

Idunno… I know it sound a bit daunting but it would make a great resource to the forum….it’s just an idea…

Best Regards

Great idea "OverEasy"
I can imagine that it isnt the first time that someone is asking these questions.

I have written down the dimensions that you told me are fitting in the MacGregor 26M:

2 smaller ones:
490,22 mm (L) x 309,88 mm (B) x 259,08 mm (H)

1 bigger one:
62,25 cm (L) x 45,1 cm (B) x 27,48 cm (H)

These are the dimensions of the tanks that fit and that you recommend me in the beginning.
As fas as I have some news I will post what I bought and with which dimensions and where to get.

Thanks @kurz for the link. It looks very nice and interesting. Now I have three options! I will go to the store and decide
YEs I am the owner of the boat sinds several days. But the license has to be transferred to my name first this will take several weeks.
In the meantime I try to make the boat ready. Thats why I am looking for fuel tanks and the right battery. :)
THank you all for your support!!!
