I've got a bunch more to address on the boat before getting to the mold. She's in good shape but didn't come with a bimini, and I'm also replacing the porta potty back to a pump out. So, I'm going to address the bigger problems before diving further into this. Thank you for all the feedback here, it's been very helpful!
And also great to connect with some local Mac owners!

A bimini is essential in my opinion.
Search this forum for head options. Pump outs can be a PITA. Finding marinas to pump them etc.

Absolutely agreed on the bimini. It wasn't fun to be in the Texas heat without one!
I looked up heads on this forum - what helpful information! I'll likely be adding a c-head in the near future, too. Thanks for the pointer.

The sun is powerful here as well. Bimini should be a priority. Blue Water Yachts have some fitted for our boats.

They are on vacation currently. But worth the investment. I bought the "doors" to enclose the cabin. Love it.
Also....if you don't have it...the motor disconnect is a must have.
The C-head is a fav of many Mac owners. I've managed with the 5gal portapotty. But much depends on how you will use your boat.
