Anyone want to meet up @ the boat show let me know I,ll be meeting up with Terry on one of these days I hope
I plan on going to both locations one day @ each
Well met up with Terry he was good enough to pick me up @ the ferry , then Terry , nephew & their wife,s & I headed to the boat show , later I met up with YukonBob for a short time as he had more shopping to do & was running outa time & I had some more browsing "prying my barting skill,s" to do
Later met back up with Terry & family & we went for dinner & then Terry dropped me off @ my hotel , so back to the show tomorrow
Sorry we had to run J. We had to run back to the island drop stuff off get groceries and take a quick peek at some fancy new sailboats before 5, which left me rather unimpressed actually but good to see anyways. Same went for the boat show. I found most sales people at the booths too busy on their phones to bother even telling you what they were supposed to be selling, unless you were looking at a new boat. Definitely some deals to be had but most seemed overpriced to begin with and the sales prices more in line with online prices. Was good to meet you though and I'll probably be back to the show in the future.
Hi B
N/P was nice to get the chance to just say Hi , I was thinkin of callin u later in the evening to meet with you,s later that night for a beer , but figured u,d b too tired & was guessin u would b havin an early departure !
You should have called I ended up staying up later and walking the docks. The water taxi to Granville was free for show attendees. the new boats were kinda nice but not too impressive actually, but was still neat to go check out other boats even though the Hunters, Beneteau's, and Jeunneau's all looked identical IMO.
