Angie puts on 8 coats of poly, sanded in between.

The table top dimensions are 18"x22"x1/2" with a 3/4"x1/4" border so the outside dimensions are 18.5"x22.5"x.75". Our first one, the prototype in the background which I had painted Galactica sailing on it, is larger: 22.5"x24.5". That was a bit too big for the cockpit.

I promised Doug to post picture of my new cockpit table he made for me. It is simply gorgeous, and I am very happy I bought it. Highly recommended to anyone considering buying cockpit table.

Wow thats a real eye opener as to how much smaller the M cockpit is against the X
