I agree with Dave. While the 26RK may be able to handle bigger waters or heavier weather, it's interior is much smaller than a Mac 26X or M. There's no way 2 adults could fit in the aft berth. While the Seaward has a more finished interior and is fully plumbed for water, electricity and head, I'll take my M over it. Plus the Macs are easier to rig.
BTW, Dave, it was nice meeting you at the show. I'm sure the kids slept well on the way home.

It WAS nice meeting you - sorry the kids demanded bathroom breaks "RIGHT NOW". LOL.
We were there 6 hours - kids went to bed early - their idea.

An update - kids (they ain't talken' so I don't know which one) left the overhead light on in the Jeep. Battery dead - really dead - I mean REALLY dead.
Just used GB30 with manual override (the battery was REALLY dead) and it worked like a charm. Be sure to charge it before you needs it.

There also really was a 45-foot sport fisherman down the aisle from our booth with four 350-horsepower Yamahas. One of our staff went aboard and learned that belowdecks was a very small galley and a head with a Portapotti. The rest of the belowdecks space was taken up by some hydraulics and massive fuel tanks. Cruise speed was 29 knots and fuel consumption was 49 gallons per hour.

They must have put it on wheels and race it on the bottom of a dried-up lake.
We met a gentleman in the Bahamas whose cruiser gulped 60 gallons an hour, but it was certainly larger than 45 feet. It had bow thrusters too (maybe that's what the "hydraulics" were for) But his yacht included a little more than a galley and a portapotti, I'd wager. Never bothered to ask what his max speed was
