Actually, I thought there was quite a bit of interest.

I was wondering, what part of the Tennessee river? The west side by Kentucky Lake or the east side by Knoxville; or, in northern Alabama?

I remember Chattanooga being discussed as a good starting off point. I know a trip originating there is on my list on inland adventures.

T,
I think you guys making this more complicated than it needs to. I've found the best/easiest rendezvous starts with one person with the desire to go sailing during a certain time frame at some location. The person posts their intented agenda and offers to anyone who wants to join. You'll either get enough interest to do some advanced planning or you'll get a few boats and it becomes real simple. That was the basis for the Charleston Rendezvous and I bet Tony and Capt Ron would tell you the same for the MUCK About and Wilmington/Southport sails.
Good luck,
Bob

There has been quite a bit of interest displayed by forum members (8 or 9 last count). A site needs to be selected.
If I were to take the "Bull by the horns", I would say Pickwick Dam area the 1st weekend in October. Just my first choise since the weather os normally good, lots of restaraunts and things to do nearby. Good facilities.
