Well, the time is getting closer. Two months and it is Piratefest on September 26 - 28, 2014. If you are interested in joining the sail, please provide the following information: Vessel name, vessel type, vessel length captain/admiral/crew and email information.

For those who may be joining the sail for the first time the itinerary is as follows: Friday, 9/26/14 arrival with launching at Taylors Creek Boat Ramp, 2370 Lennoxville Road, Beaufort, N.C. Docking at Beaufort Docks 500 Front Street, Beaufort, N.C, and dinner at Finz Restaurant, 330 Front Street at 6:30 pm.

Saturday, 9/27/14 Set sail for Cape Lookout (time will be discussed after the Friday night dinner). Once we arrive at Cape Lookout you are free to go to the beach and enjoy each others company. Bring your own main coarse to grill and a dish to share. A bon fire will follow.

Sunday, 9/28/14 Return sail to Beaufort and the boat ramp.
Please let me know if you are able to provide a grill, charcoal and/or firewood.

I am newer to this site and would like to try the Piratefest with y'all. I really haven't named the boat yet just had it a year. My 1st sailboat was named Doghouse but I am thinking Yakabout. Anyway put me down for that weekend and I will see you there.

Come on everyone the admiral needs your responses. We need to have an estimated idea of how many and what type boats are going to attend.

I will supply the Wood. Would like someone to drive me to my truck and then follow me back to ramp Friday night or early Saturday morning to distribute the wood amongst the fleet. It will be heavy Oak and bags of kindling. Any not used feel free to take home. I plan on arriving Thursday.

FYI, Judy B can put a pirate skull and crossbones on a main or a Genoa (what I'm getting). Quite the thing for the PirateFest.
