I am out in the boat, doing things I need to do on a small boat.
Get my 1gal. sprayer hooked on to my 6 ft hose and a $5 white sink spray nozzle and fill with 1 pint of 120 degree water heated on single burner.
Spray body, lather with very little liquid body soap, add to hair , add little water, clean all that stuff ya need to do.
Rince off good. Should take you about 1/2 gals. total of water.
Don't even think conditioner or your unlimited water shower.
One gal. = 2 showers!
In swimming waters you use Joy to wash up and climb aboard and rince off, Joy lathers in salt or fresh water.

We have the transom shower installed by the factory, but have only used it once. It's fine for rinsing off after swimming in salt, but I just can't see taking a bath out in the cockpit.
But I'm also 6'5" and 270lbs., so while I can get into the head by lining myself up and kind of plopping backwards, getting out of the head is like this:
