Wow you got 12 years out of that battery !! It owes you nothing. Usually a battery only lasts 5 years or so but now with the new battery chargers you can double their life expectancy. Also if you put a small solar charger on the batteries to keep it up and full that will also help its life expectancy.Deep cell is definitely the way to go. Good luck
